Our Novice Cheerleading Teams perform in a similar fashion to our Prep Teams and are the perfect step between Intro to All-Stars and a Prep Cheer Team. Their routines are limited to 1.5 minutes long. The Novice Team season starts with Registration in late fall, practices begin in January, and the season goes thru April. Novice teams will perform in the Novice Division (see www.usasf.net for details) at several competitions locally and semi-locally. Unlike Prep/Elite teams, Novice Cheer Teams perform for a rating.
Novice Teams are a perfect way for athletes to gain real competition experience before our Elite Team registration in April or Prep Team registration in August. The Novice Division is a great step to get the real competition vibe and have a little more structured routine and practice regiment than the Intro to All-Star program. Our Novice Teams will practice two times per week for 60 minutes, and their tuition also includes one tumbling class per week.
REGISTRATION takes place late in the Fall. We have a couple amazing programs to help your athlete prepare for a novice team and gain experience before this next, amazing step in all-star cheer:
Novice Teams begin practices in January after the holidays and have two 1hour practices per week (plus an included tumbling class for an additional hour). The season progresses through the following April with typically three to four competitions performances from February - April. You can see all pricing details on the Files tab of our website.
